Activity Enabler (school holidays)
Passionate about young people? Able to spare a few hours in the school holidays? We are looking for volunteers to lend a hand at our programme of activities and outings for young carers. Young carers are children and young people who are caring for a relative who has a disability, illness, mental health problem or substance misuse issue. At the Young Carers' Project we provide a programme of activities for young carers over the school holidays. This can include: trips to the seaside, drama workshops, arts and crafts, sports and many more! As an Activity Enabler, we ask that you would support staff on activities and outings. This can involve: - Helping with setting-up/clearing up - Food preparation - Interacting with the young people - Joining in/supervising the activity This is a flexible opportunity - we will send you the list of upcoming activities and you choose which you would like to do! No experience or qualifications are needed. If you are a reliable, person with a passion for youth work, we'd love to hear from you!
