Governor at Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
Kingston hospital has a fine record of achievement but can never be complacent in thinking that there is no room for improvement.
It is importnat that Kingston Hospital NHS Trust reflects the views and priorities of local people and delivers services that keep abreast of health technology. Membership of the Trust is free and entitles members to a regular newsletter; invitations to specific health talks; and participation in occasional surveys and focus groups.
Members are also entitled to vote in elections for local Governors and can stand to become a volunteer Governor and complete a three year term. The role of Governor is to represent the local area.
If standing in the election for a Governor is of interest, there will be an information evening at 6.00p.m. on Wednesday 6th September at the Education Centre, Surgical Centre Building of Kingston Hospital. All are welcome and the meeting will provide more insight into the Governor's role and whether you feel it appropriate that you should stand to become a Governor.
First stage membership enquiries should be directed to FTMembership@firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 02089342145. You can also book a place at the early September meeting.
